RIU reaches for the sky!
date_range 12 September, 2019 question_answer Leave your thoughtsOn Wednesday 11 September the Riu Plaza España hotel lavishly decorated its 360º rooftop terrace on the 27th floor in order to hold the opening party for this new 4-star hotel, which was attended by 250 people including numerous public figures from the city along with the entire Riu family. No one wanted to miss out on this!
The night was a roaring success! During the event the company logo was projected onto the front of the terrace and spectacular lighting gave the evening an extra special feel. The event paid homage to the hotel’s philosophy and made various nods to the 1950s. All those invited had the chance to savour traditional Madrid cooking as well as to enjoy theatre performances set in the 1950s and they even ate chocolate and churros at midnight! The party carried on in the “De Madrid al Cielo” bar to the beat of the guest DJ’s music who was in charge of creating the party atmosphere while those attending sipped on cocktails until the end of the night
The party was full of emotion and excitement. Together we touched the Madrid sky in this hotly anticipated Riu Plaza España hotel opening.
