Some of the best views from the RIU hotels

We often discuss how beautiful our hotel decor is, their location and all the amenities and installations you will find in them. We will now be turning to one of the RIU hotels’ best qualities: the views. We always try to ensure that both the exterior and the interior of our hotels are extremely attractive and this is why they are always located in unique settings.

We want to show you some of our favourite hotel views. As well as coming for the food, the rooms and the entertainment, we also want you to come to enjoy the views that will undoubtedly form an important part of your holidays, whether you enjoy these views from the pool, your hotel room window or from one of our RIU hotel restaurants.

The views from the RIU city hotels

We are going to show you the views you will experience when you visit some of the hotels in the Riu Plaza line of hotels.

1.      Riu Plaza España

This is one of the hotels that has received the most attention from us this year: the Riu Plaza España hotel. In addition to having retained the architecture and many of the original elements of this historic building the best thing of all is that the wonderful views have not changed. This is a result of the spectacular terrace located at the very top of the building which preserves a Madrid classic: the rooftop terrace.

2.      Riu Plaza Berlín

Imagine looking down at the city of Berlin from the moment you get up, while you think about all the places you have to visit that day. This is the best way of summoning the energy to set off on a day of city sightseeing. In order to do just this, you can choose any of the hotel’s rooms which will offer you views of various parts of the city. We recommend one of our two presidential suits where you will enjoy a panoramic view of Germany‘s capital.

3.      Riu Plaza New York Times Square

Close to the famous Times Square, the Riu Plaza New York Times Square hotel is located in the heart of the great city of New York. As well as offering you the perfect location from which to visit the emblematic sights of the city, you will also have views of this wonderful city and its high-rise buildings from whichever room you choose to stay in. Gaze out on the authentic New York from your room!

RIU Hotels with sea views

We are now going to move on to a totally different kind of location, where the ocean will take a starring role and the hotels are located far from the city centre. Do you want to take a look at some of the best sea views with RIU?

1.      Tenerife

Our first stop is the recently renovated Riu Garoe hotel in Tenerife. We have already told you about the changes its undergone, but this time we wanted to show you one of its most special corners: the sun terrace. Although the hotel offers fantastic sea views, from this terrace you can sunbathe and enjoy an aperitif with magnificent views of the mountains in a relaxing setting.

Without leaving the island we will stop off at another of our hotels: the Riu Palace Tenerife. It boasts a large pool at the side of the hotel which makes you feel like you are swimming in the sea itself. It is the ideal location to take a few snaps to remind you of your holidays when you get back home. The views are nothing short of spectacular! We suggest you take a dip in the pool at sunset or simply enjoy the sounds of the sea.

2.      The Maldives

You now know all there is to know about our Riu Palace Maldivas and Riu Atoll hotels located in the heavenly islands of the Maldives as well as the activities you can enjoy if you travel with RIU. Before going for dinner, why not make the most of the beautiful sunset over our hotels, in an atmosphere and a landscape which is difficult to find anywhere else.

3.      Fuerteventura

To the north of the island of Fuerteventura you will find the Riu Palace Tres Islas hotel. We have chosen this hotel for its spectacular views of the Corralejo Beach from various parts of the hotel. We wanted to highlight two views which, in our opinion, are the best. The first and most interesting is the sea view you can enjoy while doing a workout at the gym. What a luxury! For the second view, we recommend that you sit out on one of our terraces in the evening and enjoy the combinations of light and colour at nightfall contrasted with the backdrop of the glittering sea.

4.      Gran Canaria

This post is drawing to a close and our last stop is going to be the Island of Gran Canaria, and specifically, the Riu Vistamar hotel, one of our most special hotels thanks to its location at the edge of a cliff which offers views that will make your hair stand on end. What are we going to emphasize about this hotel? Its main restaurant that boasts a terrace with unbeatable sea views where you can enjoy an evening meal as night falls. This hotel undoubtedly lives up to its name!
